Co-Curricular Activities

In preparing its students to become women of insight and leaders in society, The Maine Girls’ Academy encourages each student to become involved in at least one co-curricular activity. Clubs, organizations and activities bring new experiences, new challenges and new friendships.

As a means to promote self-esteem and camaraderie among students, MGA offers a wide variety of clubs and school-sponsored activities.  Below is a sampling:

Spirit. Sports. Semi-Formal. Oh yeah,

Did you know girls CAN play football? From the community cookout to the annual Powder Puff Game under the lights, the school year really gets into gear with MGA's Homecoming.

It’s a whole lot of fun jammed into one crazy week. Get creative for Spirit Days, and show off your MGA pride at our exciting pep rally. Suit up to play for the home team or cheer on your best friends, and head out Saturday night all dressed up to dance. Bring a date or meet someone new at the Homecoming Dance. Last year, our girls brought 300 of their best boy and girl friends to celebrate the school they love.
