Kudos to Hayley Holzhacker ’14, the newest member of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Maine State Team.

A lifelong equestrian, Hayley has competed on the National Level in Hunt Seat Equitation and in the Children’s Hunter Division. Hayley will train at Greystone Stables, North Berwick, Maine under the instruction of Kate Thompson McDaniel.

The IEA offers guidance regarding the creation and development of school and/or barn associated equestrian programs. IEA coaches aim to develop understanding and appreciation of equestrian sports through organized student competitions and additional equine educational opportunities. Through the IEA, students have the opportunity to earn scholarships towards their college education through awards in competition and through sportsmanship activities.

Congratulations on this fine accomplishment, Hayley!
